Figuring things out

I know that after this new blog is complete ill be happy with the results, but wow! This has been one interesting, frustrating, exciting and huge learning experience. I sort of had an idea of what to expect when we signed up for wordpress.org but I didn’t know how much ground work we had to do. Installing plug-ins for every feature, editing, html code, its crazy!

Slowly its coming together, so I am thankful for that. Right now I am trying to work out how I can get a follow blog button. WordPress.com has the best widget that you just pop it in and it works. I can’t seem to find a plug-in for that. There is a plug-in called jetpack that allows you to attach your .com wordpress to the .org. but not all the widget features are included. We will get there.

So I have added a plug in called subscribe2 that apparently allows you to subscribe to our blog. Please give it a try and let me know if it works. 🙂

I can’t see it hun. I did mine by adding it to the sidebar. You may need to find a different theme as some I’ve found aren’t that compatible. It still confuses me to this day x
